Meet our President kayla Tapia I chose Kappa Delta Chi because one of the hardest things I had to face when going to college was transitioning from high school. Coming to ASU didn’t help much either considering how big it is. At first, I didn’t think greek life was for me when it was mentioned. Soon enough, however, I was convinced into going to greek open house. Kappa Delta Chi caught my interest, and I’m glad I went through with it. KDChi has brought me the ability to find my nest in such a big community. My sisters are my best friends, and I have ultimately found a family.
Meet our Service Officer Itzel Ayala I chose KDCHI because I wanted a support system that aligned with my passion for higher education and providing service in the larger Phoenix community. KDCHI has brought me my best friends who have helped me in many aspects in life - specifically in college and career.
Meet our Secretary Emily Linares Growing up, I never fit into a niche or a clique at school and struggled to find people who had similar backgrounds as me. I chose KDChi because I wanted to be surrounded by women like myself: hard-working, academically-driven, and proud of their heritage. I felt as though KDChi embodied those characteristics perfectly so I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and went for it. As time went on, it was undeniable that our values of unity, honesty, integrity, and leadership are qualities that every sister lives by and that I had been living by without even realizing it. It has become clear that even though I made a choice to join KDChi, the organization chose me all along. Being around amazing women inspires me to be a better person everyday and I am excited to share this love with new sisters. And you never know, you might meet your best friend along the way like I did.
Meet our Vice President Alex Pippett Kappa Delta Chi has given me the confidence to strive to be the best version of myself every day. It has given me the opportunity to network with and meet wonderful people; I have grown professionally and being surrounded by strong, like-minded women has inspired me to continue on my academic journey.
